Darkness ≠ heat rejection
Visible Light Transmission (VLT) is how dark a film looks. Infrared Rejection (IRR) is how much heat it blocks. They are not the same thing — a light, almost-clear film can reject more heat than a cheap dark one.

Staying JPJ-legal up front
